Meet Dr. Okamoto | Female Dentist in Chicago IL
A commitment to higher education, service, and personalized care for her patients has been the foundation of Dr. Okamoto’s practice of general dentistry for over 30 years.
Dr. Okamoto earned her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees, graduating with honors, from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry. She then continued her education in a general practice residency program with the United States Air Force. Following the completion of her one-year residency at Chanute Air Force Base in Rantoul, IL, Captain Okamoto proudly served her country for the next two years as a general dentist at Misawa Air Force Base in Japan.
After separating from the Air Force, Dr. Okamoto started her own successful private practice. She has been providing compassionate care of the highest quality to patients of all ages. She spends time listening to her patients in order to understand their concerns and responds with the best treatment options. Dr. Okamoto truly believes informed patients make better decisions about their dental health and well-being.
In 2020, Dr. Okamoto merged her practice with Dental Professionals of Old Orchard in Skokie, IL.
Dr. Okamoto maintains professional affiliations with

- the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honors Society.
When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Okamoto enjoys spending time with her family, long walks with her dog, shelling on the beaches of southwest Florida, and international travel.
