Dr. Tokowitz has been serving the Chicago community in private practice for over 35 years. A proud graduate of the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in 1987, he went on to complete a two-year general practice residency at Illinois Masonic Medical Center in 1989, where he was honored as Chief Dental Resident in his second year. Since then, Dr. Tokowitz has been dedicated to providing quality dental care in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood and is now excited to bring his expertise to Dental Professionals of Old Orchard.

Committed to lifelong learning, Dr. Tokowitz has pursued advanced training at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, with a focus on smile esthetics and occlusion. Cosmetic Dentistry is a passion of his, with his careful attention to detail resulting in a reputation as a sought-after provider of cosmetic smile makeovers. He has also received extensive training in guided implant surgery, Invisalign, and TMJ therapy, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in dental care to ensure his patients receive the best possible treatment.

Dr. Tokowitz is an active member of respected organizations such as the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, the Chicago Dental Society, and the Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity. He is known for his patient-centered approach, always prioritizing comfort and personalized care to meet each individual’s dental goals.

When he’s not enhancing smiles, Dr. Tokowitz enjoys staying active through golf, swimming, yoga, and indulging his passion for music—he even plays the drums!
