What are the most effective techniques for tooth whitening?

Tooth whitening is one of our specialties and you can take advantage of our services at home or at our offices.

But before you consider having your teeth whitened, you must have a dental examination. No two mouths are the same! Different teeth may respond differently to various whitening methods. The Dental Professionals will evaluate your teeth before deciding which technique would be best. Yellowish, hued teeth respond well to bleach, but brownish-colored and grayish-hued teeth do not. Tooth whitening does not whiten caps, veneers or bonded teeth.

Also, you may rest assured that tooth whitening is safe! If you’re nursing or pregnant, we do not recommend whitening. The techniques that the Dental Professionals use will not soften enamel or existing fillings. The primary ingredient in the tooth whitening formula is hydrogen peroxide.

We offer chair side power bleaching at either of our locations. Or if you prefer whitening your teeth at home, we can provide you with a custom-made bleaching tray filled with a mild bleaching agent.
